What Browns players should be taken in your fantasy drafts?

In this article I am going to go through each Browns player, talk about their ADP, and whether they are over valued or under valued at that ADP(average draft position). This is based on PPR Scoring. In this article I am going to assume we are referring to a PPR scoring, 12 member, 16 round draft. I am using FantasyPros.com for ADP numbers.

Amari Cooper: Cooper is drafted 41st overall, and 29th amongst WR’s. This would put him around mid round 4. Here are some things to think about when considering drafting Cooper I think he is a solid and safe pick. You are choosing someone who will probably be the number 1 offense in a good offense, and that is a good WR. The chances of Amari Cooper disappointing are low, he was able to keep consistent production even with 4 different starting QB’s last season. However, while Amari Cooper is not likely to disappoint his ADP, he is also not likely to greatly exceed, or finish in the top 10 among WRs in Fantasy. There are lots of mouths to feed in Cleveland. Some other players with similar ADP include Christian Kirk, George Pickens, Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, Tee Higgins.

David Njoku: Njoku is being drafted 102th overall, and 11th amongst TE’s. This would make Njoku a mid 8th round pick. Njoku is also a solid pick to make. If Njoku gets targets, I believe he can be a TE in the league, and in fantasy football. Some players with similar ADP are Tony Pollard, Jayden Daniels, Tyler Lockett, and Jordan Love.

Jerome Ford: Jerome Ford is drafted 118th overall and 36th amongst RB’s. This would put him in the late 9th round of the draft. I don’t think Jerome Ford is worth going after in the 9th round. Hines could take over his role, and if Chubb misses time, Foreman will likely have the biggest workload on the team. Both Hines and Foreman are going undrafted. Around Jerome Ford’s ADP there are late round QB’s like Trevor Lawrence, though I would wait a little longer and grab Deshaun Watson, which will be discussed at the end of this article.

Jerry Jeudy: Drafted 121st overall, 59th amongst WR’s. This would make him an early 10th round pick. This is a steal. Jerry Jeudy has huge upside, and a good chance of being starter worthy on your fantasy team. Yes, there is a chance that he just doesn’t work out on the Browns. However, he is guaranteed to be the starter on the Browns and will most likely be the WR2 on the Browns, which makes him a safe option for the 10th round, while also being a high upside option. If he starts getting drafted earlier as we get closer to the season, he can still be a high upside pick.

Nick Chubb: Drafted 143rd overall, and RB 46th. This would make him a late 11th round pick. If you have an early draft, this pick could pay off big time if Nick Chubb was ready week 1. I think just because Nick Chubb is such a good player that it may be worth a late draft pick and putting him IR, especially if you have 2 IR spots. If you need to fill your RB starting spot in the meantime you take Foreman with one of your last picks, then cut Foremen once Nick Chubb is healthy. Foreman will likely be the number 1 back similar to how D Earnest Johnson was when Chubb was injured.

Deshaun Watson: 162nd overall and 20th amongst QBs. This would make him a mid 13th round pick. As a football player, Deshaun Watson has the upside to become elite again, which he has shown progressions towards on the Browns. In addition to that, he is a mobile QB, and that is very good for fantasy. Deshaun Watson is the only mobile QB falling nearly this far in the draft. Other QB’s with similar ADP as him are Aaron Rodgers, and Baker Mayfield. I think Deshaun Watson is a steal. See more about Deshaun Watson in this article: https://dawgsdigest.blog/go/GPb2

Priority undrafted players include D’onta Foreman, and Elijah Moore.
