Should the Browns trade Nick Chubb?

This offseason, fans have decided to have serious conversations about trading Nick Chubb. The argument is that we could save 12 million in cap space and get a 2nd round pick. In this argument, fans say that you can’t win a super bowl with a good RB. I disagree. Nick Chubb is one of the most important players on our offense. He provides a big threat. Teams are always trying to stop Nick Chubb which opens up the pass game. Which is better? having Nick Chubb really open up the pass game or have an extra receiver in someone like Allen Lazard with a closed up passing game, where we are trying to make something happen on the ground. If the browns want a WR, Nick Chubb’s 12 million dollars alone is not going to stop them.12 million dollars won’t make or break anything. the chances that the 2nd round pick would have a bigger impact on the browns then Nick Chubb, are extremely tiny. But is saves 12 million in cap space? Why would you part an elite player to save 12 million dollars in cap space? If there was a player at WR that had the impact Nick Chubb has on this team, they would get more than a 2nd round pick.

Conclusion: stop overthinking and trying to get rid of great players.
