What browns fans are getting wrong about JOK.

Browns fans have criticized JOK for struggling last season thought the offseason. In this blog I will give reason why it wasn’t JOK’s fault.

1: The Browns DT’s

As we know, the browns defensive tackles were terrible last offseason. The browns had Perrion Winfrey (who was not developed) The browns had Taven Bryan, Jordan Elliot, Tommy Togai, and Perrion Winfrey (who was a rookie). But what does this have to do with JOK? Well, it’s hard for LB’s to do their job when the DTs are getting bullied and can’t eat blocks. But why should it be better this year? Because the browns added Dalvin Tomlinson, Maurice Hurst, Siaki Ika, Trysten Hill, and Jim Schwartz (who should be able to utilize DT’s better then Joe Woods.) 2: Joe Woods

All of the other LB’s on defense were injured, leaving JOK as the only one standing. Anthony Walker, who was essential for communication, was injured. All the players were out of place and not doing their job correctly, which made it difficult for JOK to perform well. The entire defense was a mess, because of some bad players and bad coaching. Good players like JOK’s performances paid the price for this. The reason for many of these players often being out of place was Joe Woods.

3: Conclusion

The browns defense was a huge mess last year, and JOK wasn’t to blame for his struggles. It is unfair to criticize him for his play last year when his struggles were caused by the mess around him (and Joe Woods). I fully expect JOK to play better this year, just as I expect the rest of the defense to play better this year.
